Just hung a t5 fixture over a 75 gallon tank, but I think I hung it too high it is currently 13 inches above the tank, this unit produces 450 watts, is it ok where it is or do I need to lower it, thanks! I plan on setting up a reef tank.
Yes I would try to lower it. T5 dont produce much heat. So I would try to get it as close as possible without it getting in the way. I think 6-8 inches would be ideal.
