I was given a 20 gallon acrylic aquarium, along with two boxes full of everything I'd need. I plan to use the aquarium as a hospital tank.
Now, there were also lots of beautiful shells and rocks that came along with it. They aren't brand new, but not 15 years old. I would like to use them in my saltwater tank, however, how should I clean them first?
Bleach? Boiling? Or just a really good rinse?
Thanks!

If they have not been used in a long time I would just rinse them after a quick snif to see if there is any odor at all (if so then a bleach job to be sure). I had some shells we picked off the beach in Florida that were in a box for probably 10 years and at some point I decided to put them in my tanks and rinsed them used them and had no problems.
