Happity's 8g Nano

Tested my waters and everything is perfect like always :)
I havnt decided yet wich of my tanks is going to be solely rics but one of them is as soon as I get my 25-35 rics in a couple weeks... Its going to be sweet.
AND, I've decided that I am going to get a harlequin shrimp pair for this tank when the clown is moved to the 24. Im getting a few starfish to keep in the 24 to feed them off of. Its going to be awesome.

My purple cloves finnally spread to my back wall. Now I can move them to the 24, and let the cloves take over the back in the 8. Ill post pics soon, Im pumped!

So, some of my zoos havnt opened for about two weeks, and I was looking reeeeeaaaly closely and their are aptasia growing all around and in between all the zoas. I know how to get rid of them, but is it going to hurt my zoos to blast the aptasia that is so close to them with hot water? Or should I move the zoos and see if I can get rid of them like that. ANY advice would be appreciated...

nice tank lol

but i noticed that it the beggining of this forum someone told u that u couldnt have a six line. If u ever decide to change your mind you can get one. I have mine in a nano and there weent any pods after the first month and i had him for 2 years before i had to give him away

yeah, I dont lik the sixline enough to have one now. but thanks for the advice... maybe in the future, this tank is going to be a harlequin pair only maybe with a small goby...
but yeah, anyone on the aptasia?

So its safe to shoot lemon juice into my tank? Do you have any more info/advice how to do it with lemon juice? Thanks
If you have a syringe with a needle that works best. But because you have coral around it you want the smallest stream possible. Get right on top of the Aiptasia, if it pulls into a crevice just shoot right into the crevice. I used 1 mL per aiptasia. It may take a few shots as they can be tricky when pulling themselves in, but you have a larger margin for error with the juice as it only affects the pH of the water (which can be buffered back). the hot water will incinerate anything it touches.

so I moved my purple cloves into my 24, and to my surprise found this.

i hope they cover the entire back wall

duncan looking purdy

yeah, there was a small "line" of them of sorts that I knew was there on the top right not viewable in the pics, exactly like the line of brown ones coming off the purples in the first pic, with the majority of them being the ugly hitchiker brown ones, so when I moved the rock and saw the thirty or so purple, I was like "SCORE!"
