Agreed! I'm excited for fireworks that I'll be seeing tonight over this beautiful island that I'm vacationing in.... that I have the right to vacation in...

When I see fireworks, I think of the young men who gave their lives to keep that beautiful flag flying-at Fort McHenry and ever since. We are blessed that from the beginning there have been those who are willing to give their last full measure of devotion to the principle that all men are created equal. It is easy to call for peace and condemn war. It is far more noble to put one's life on the line to secure it for others. I pray we never forget that or those who stand to defend it.
