Has anyone ahd any trouble keeping their cleaner shrimp happy and healthy? I have heard they are kind of sensitive little things.

You have to keep your water parameters pretty stable for any invert. I don't think cleaners are any more sensitive than others.

I guess I could have been refering to any inverts- I am nervous about adding them when the time comes. "Stable" is fuzzy term to this newbie, I guess I won't know those parameters until I hit an unstable region and learn the hard way, especially in a 16 gallon. Today we added a pair of false perc's to the tank, previous inhabitants- 6 hermits.
My plan of attack so far:
Add protein skimmer
Check parameters every couple of days intially
Pre-mix saltwater, heat to proper temp before doing weekly/bi-weekly changes
Add plain RO water for top offs
Anything else?
:nervous:

dont forget to check the ph on your ro water seems the water I buy is always low,so I just have to add alittle marine buffer.
