That is a nice fish list there. I don't know what I would add. I was thinking the same thing about my tank.

Krista...... I have no idea wat you have now. Lois........... hows about a possum wrasse? They are so calm and collected. Like the LPA, they just cruiz in and out of the rock work. However,...... just thought about this, the lemonpeel may go into attack mode if you add anything else. Just somethin to think about.

I love the lemonpeel angels, yours has that great Sunny D coloring...I put the blue chromis in my tank and now I notice the blue around my angels eyes more...their colors seem to balance each other and makes the tank pop with color...Thanks for suggesting the reef chromis to me. All five are happy and healthy.

I want one! But I just know that my CB will beat on it!
I think you can only have one dwarf angel in a tank...unless you have a really big one. All the dwarfs are so pretty, it's hard to choose which one to get. It's the only thing wrong with them...we can only get one.

I have a flame and a coral beauty in my 225G and they swim around each other all the time ...friendly

I had the CB with a Flame and they were fine. I got rid of the Flame when I upgraded from the 155 to the 180 because I was just bored with it. If the CB and Lemon Peel weren't the same body type, I'd try it. I might still get a Lemon Peel and put it in the frag tank, but hubby wants a Potter's.

I think the best way to do it is making sure you have a male and female. Two males are almost guaranteed to be aggressive towards each other. I have three is my 135 (Lemonpeel, the male a flame and a multicolor, both females) and they get along very well. The owner of my LFS is really good at determining male from female and it is working. I agree that there are so many great dwarfs. Another incentive for me was most are reasonably priced, unlike large angels.

That's interesting. Especially the flame angel, because they're hermaphroditic and it's almost impossible to determine their sex.

Wow I did not know that about flames. Are they the only dwarf angels that are hermaphroditic. I am fairly sure my flame and multicolor are females because what little aggression there is is between those two. The lemonpeel pays no attention to either of them. I had the flame and the lemonpeel before adding the multicolor. Maybe the flame changed to avoid aggression from the lemonpeel.

SWF mom
very nice one of my favorite very under value
my friend have 18 years old lemonpeel and still being pass on to many reefers
About the flame angel yes you can identify the sex through the anal fins
female have more rounded find, less colorful and generally small yet fatter than the male
In 2 months I will get 2 females to have a trio. In my main tank
Most of the flame angel sold in store are males.
