Hey all. Just wanted to wish you all a healthy and happy new year. I'm enjoying having you all here to argue with. On my way out to celebrate with the kids so I won't be on much but just wanted to express my affection for the swf crew. Enjoy and be safe!

Well it looks like Beth beat me to it...the first member to log on this year...there should be an award for those of us sober enough to get up early in the morning. LOL. I hope everyone had a safe, without incident wecome to the new year. LOL...The world didn't end at least.

Or, it could be that I haven't made it to bed yet! LOL You know when I drink, I can't sleep at all. That doesn't mean I'm not sober, however.

I haven't gone out on New Years in 15 or 20 years. Too many amateur's out there. I've been honing my drunk skills since 1974 or so and don't jeopardize this specialized talent just to have a rookie take me out.

I rarely venture out of the house either......after I had my 1st child I decided there was too much risk......
IF we went out we spent the night somewhere......BUT I preferred to stay home and make a party for me and the kids....we had lots of snacks and treats......
Of course after they got older they wanted to go out :( BUT I stayed home in case someone needed to call me....and the deal was if there was drinking they spent the night where they were (or called)
