Hard Green Algae

I have really green and really hard algae on my glass. It is almost impossible to scrape off. Any suggestions on guys that like to eat this stuff?

Use an old credit card or hotel key (credit card style) and use that to scrape off the glass.

I do scrape the algae, but it is very hard to do. Much of it is in spots i can not reach. Still looking for suggestions of who might like th is as a snack. What about a star fish?

I dont think anyone really eats the stuff, but I may be wrong.
I had the same issue and bought one of those extenders. It came with a plastic scraper but I upgraded it to a metal one which works like a charm.

This may or may not matter to you: it may be coraline algae. It will, probably, turn purple.
Does it look like this?

it is probably, like stated, coraline algae. if it bugs you, you can scrape it off with a razor blade or a credit card.
to clarify, green coraline algae is different from purple. it is a different species.
