Can anyone tell me how to decrease the hardness in my tank water? It is reading "very hard" when I test it but unsure how to correct it (if it in fact needs to be corrected):help:
I think so, but I can't really explain it very well at all...hopefully some others can explain (i am not finding any really good and basic answers when I do searches...try a search and see what you can find).
I use RO water and have no problems.
First item on the agenda is for you to get some good test kits. These will give you numbers to work from.
"Very Hard" is completely meaningless in this hobby
Salifert makes very good tests IMO.
