A blast from the past. We did not refinish the floor, I just installed a new floor, so it has the urethane finish on it. I did have to move the tank onto a different room. In fact it is now in the room in my picture. Since our floor had ridges in it, for lack of a better word I did put it on a 3/4" piece of plywood to try and help distribute the weight.
LTS, I actually bought a name brand Swifer. It works great. Sometimes I just put a damp rag on the end and sometimes I put the swifer pad on the end. I sweep it a couple of times a week and it is gross thinking that stuff used to go into our carpet.
Now since I am so lazy this leads to another project. We saw in one of thouse house shows this house that had a kick plate in the base board. When you opened the plate it turned on a vacuum and you just sweep all of your stuff into the opening and off it goes.

damp is good every so often.
Man, would I love that sucker up thingy in the base board. Is it a newer version of the central vac system?
