Harlequin Shrimp & Starfish

I ordered a pair of Harlequin shrimp at my LFS but i dont have any starfish at the moment. I tried giving them some brine at the store but they wouldnt eat it. Can they go without a starfish for a week or so, or do they have to be munching on them pretty often... Anyone with any info, or experience with harley's please talk to me!!!!!

they can go a few days without it
do they hang out together?
get a star fish for them asap though

Usually they can be fed every three weeks if you have a pair, so depending when they were fed last. And starfish are all thet eat!
