Harley Rehab Update

BeachBumTX, I hope finals went well. It can be impossible to care about school when there are better things to spend time on. Anyway, it's great what you do. I've always wanted to get close to a dolphin. I had the change to swim with them, but I didn't like the idea of them being confined to tanks and such. (I swam with sting rays instead. They free, they came and went as they pleased, of they knew the boats and crowds meant squid for them.
Any idea of when Harley will be released? (I'm assuming the goal is to release her right?)
I hope she continues to do well.

The goal is to rehab for release, unless the animal is either too young or can not make a full enough recovery to be able to survive on its own.
Harley is believed to be about a year old. Most marine mammals stay with the nursery group for two years learning how to survive. Because of this, she will not be released (Unfortunately). When rehab is over, she will go to an aquarium that is capable handling her.

No clue? Sometimes the process the determines that makes us keep the animal for so long.
