Has anyone bought LR from this place??

I was just wondering if they cure thier rock?

I've been there and bought from there when I was first getting started but never asked.

it says right on there site that they do......but though shipment there will me more die off.....so its is not a bad idea to cure it......it is okay IMO to just add it to the display though......looks like a cool site....we need to see more of that type of product being sold!

They do not "cure" the live rock. They go out on their boats on Thursday or Friday and harvest all the LR from their site and it is shipped off within a couple of days of that. Their mentality is that there is no need to cure it since it just came out of the ocean. They do have large "curing" bins where they keep the rock until it is shipped. I have found minimal die off with their rock. Just be sure you pick off any sponges that look kind of iffy. AND, since you are in Tampa I am assuming that you are going to pick the rock up instead of having shipped.
