The Lions I have seen being sold as P. miles resemble what I know as P. mombasae. They look similar to Antennata but are indeed a different species. They are not cold water but have read they can hail from deeper waters where collected. Interesting lions for sure and look different than most. Never heard them called Peacock lions before but I am sure any common name is possible.

P Miles looks like a mix of P Volitans or P Lunulata, but not a P Mombassae.
I also agree w/ you that a lot of the lions in the LFS are mismarked, or worse given these goofy common names
You are right guys. The LFS usually make up their names. I am really interested in this guy. He's about 5 in now. But I want to do some research before I get him.
