Has anyone ever painted a boat deck???

I bought my sailboat back in October. The guy I bought it from hadn't sailed it or cleaned it in over a year.
I took a pressure washer out to my slip today and gave the boat a good cleaning. Afterwards I realized it was in bad need of some painting on the deck.
I have some non-skid marine grade paint. Has anyone ever painted their boat deck with this stuff? The directions on the back say to apply with a roller, but I want to see if anyone has any experience with this before I start.
I bought some TSP to prep the deck. Has anyone ever used TSP before?
Thanks.

what wood is on the deck? If its Teak it would be a shame to paint it.
your paint will work, but it just always looks hooey to stand on a painted deck unless its a commercial boat.
TSP is toxic and I would recommend against it for the fishies sake. Simple green and a heavy duty pressure washer should strip it as far as you like. 2800psi will resurface the wood like a sandblaster. Then like duckback or triway to retreat the wood. Painting it just feels wrong to me.........JMO
