Well I have had a very bad day...
My poor little, love of my life, can't live without her kitty, may have cancer. Let's review her story, back in 1998 my mom found her in the middle of the road someone had tossed her out of a car. There was a lot of trauma to her head, her brain swelled which caused her to not use her hind legs. I had to take her to the vet everyday for a week to get shots of steroids to keep her brain from swelling. She also had one of her canine teeth break so I had have it removed. So over the years she has gone in and out of health. She gets urinary track infections, she has allergies that cause open sores about once every two months, she get ulcers in her left eye about once a year, I have to have her left eye cleaned out once a month because dirt builds up in it, she gets diarrhea often and vomits so she has trouble keeping up her weight, her liver enzyme count should be around 100 and her's jumps to 1100, and one day she woke me up having a seizure. Soooooo today I take her to the vet to get her liver checked and they find a mass below her kidneys that they are worried about.... so she has to have her 3rd sonogram and then if that looks bad, have the mass checked to see if it is cancer and if it is cancer then we start chemo.
I am just wondering if anyone has had a cat go through chemo and what it is like. I love my cat more then I can ever express and if I have to work 5 jobs to pay for this I will. I apperciate anyone's advice, prayers and good thoughts... I just really upset about this :O(
