There is a LFS(Fish Paradise for all of you in SOFL) that has a fish in their show tank that they call a African Blenny. its a cool little fish. It is mostly black and just the tip of its tail is yellow. Its similar to a bicolor but its much prettier. Its fin goes seemlessly all the way to from the head to the tip and moves its whole body as it swims. I asked if they can get them in and they said no and won;t sell the one in the show tank! Just wondering if anyone has ever seen them or knows the scientific name so I can have the LFS I usually do business with order it for me. Thanks!

You could try Atrosalarias fuscus, aka Highfin. The juvies are yellow and turn black with age.

not even close! looks just like the one in the link Ijust posted but its tail is yellow...the owner of the store said that he only got in 2...one to his partner and one in the display tank and has never been able to get them back in. he said its been in there since last year sometime...so I will find out if it has changed colors like one dogstar was speaking of.

Im pretty much done on stocking my tank so my only puchases now are mainly food and saltmix. I buy food from Exotic Aquatics on Oakland Park because I live close to there and salt from Big Al's.
I stop alot at any store Im near if I have time just to look around. Like going to the zoo.
Not sure where Fish Paridise is. Is that the store on Hallandale Beach Blvd.
GL with the Blenny.
