Im thinking of starting with seahorses and was wondering if anyone has ordered from there, and do you recommend it, and also which seahorses do you believe are the strongest.
Has anyone ordered from ocean rider?

i work in a lfs and we actually ordered from them. they are probably the best place to get seahorses. i will guarantee your not wasting your money. they supply you with really healthy seahorses and they all eat. and if you get a male pregnant it is pregnant for sure. i would say to go with the sunbursts or the pixies.

All of our seahorses came from oceanrider. In my opinion, its the only place to get them.
Their horses are tank born, and raised on frozen mysis. The biggest challenge in keeping horses is getting them to eat, oceanrider takes care of this in advance!
If you're just starting out, go with mustangs. They're as hard to kill as damsels, and take on beautiful colors.
If you think water should be prisitine for corals, ferget it, thats nothing compared to what you need for horses! Keep your parameters textbook perfect, make sure the tank is tall, slow water movement, 75 degrees, and enjoy these great creatures.

Thanks, im really looking foward for this, so I will probably start the tank with the seahorses, probably a small tank but tall, maybe around december, if things go well, thanks again.
