Yeah, I think he got banned.
Too bad. Alot of what went down was not his fault. People did not agree with his way of doing things and flamed him big time and then started the back and forths and so on and so on..........
Anyway, this seems like a somewhat useful product. I just wonder if it lives up to the claims it makes.

Looks to me like it does the same thing as Boyd's Chemi-Pure. Since I see somebody got banded, he has my sympathy 'cuz I've got the same problem. Put it this way (this wont help but at this point I dont care) A friend of mine who obviously crazy and a bad influence
had a 29 gallon reeftank in which he used Chemi-Pure. It had some LR with various corals and dusters etc, some hermits, a carpet anemone, and a CBS. Fish wise, a Royal Gramma, a Firefish, a Flame Angel, and a pair of Tomato clowns. The first thing everyone would say when they saw it was "why cant I see the water?". The clown fish bred every month but the eggs usually got eaten. Beside topping off and replacing salt because of bleeding, he hadn't done a water change in over 10 years. This of course is the actual goal of creating a mini ecosytem such as a reeftank. If any of the experts here would like to argue with my obviously insane friend, make sure you've had a Tomato Clown at least live
10 years let alone breed all that time.
Oh and just in case I get banned for having a friend that was good enough to do this, it's been real

This is my friends invertless, medication free QT .
The only filtration is a Hagen Aqua Clear with a bag of Chemi-Pure connected to one side of a UGF. Judging from the combination of fish, this was about 1 year without a water change. You see what i mean about it looking like it doesn't have water? There is a little crappy algae starting but it only has 2 24" AuquaGlo lights. Of course next to it is where he kept his trophies that weren't significant enough to protect from salt. How a guy that doesn't know what he's talking aabout wins trophies for his fish I'll never know.

I hear good things about them. BUT nothing from the mouth of an actual user..
Sounds the same as the magnets on your cars fuel line to increase power and MPG. Which is a load of fertilizer. I dunno. Chemi-pure However i have heard does work.

The Ecoaqualizer thing has a 180 day money back guarantee and a 100% cutomer satifaction rating from the better business bureau so i guess it wouldn't hurt to check it out.

Let me see if I got that parts list, 2 tubes one that fits in the other, glue, electrical tape, and I guess I'll just use some magnets off the fridge

Wow, that redox test was not very impressive. I think the most interesting part was the fact that they through several pounds of live rock, anemones and zoos in a ten and the redox went up, the rise had no correlation to the tube 'o magnets, but it went up. This was a good test for the benefits of live rock.
The ion exchange resin in Chemi-Pure is really old technology. I have this need to find a deionozing application in some industry that can be scaled down.

Guess what???? Doubt very seriously the thing works as said......Think about it logically if the thing actually worked don't you think everyone would be using it???? So theoretically speaking water changes are needed and anyone that feeds you a bunch of garbage about not doing water changes is full of s**t.......Let's get real!!!!!!

LOL I will say that the tube of fridge magnets obviously did nothing, to keep a BBB 100% customer satisfaction rating the need only promptly return the money of everyone that asked for it. That sure doesn't mean that it works. I'm sure my friend agrees that if he had done water changes matbe his fish would have gotten best of show instead of best of class.
Ha, just kiddin'.
