Has anyone used a fish trap?

I have a reef tank full of live rock, corals and a coral beauty with ich. I'm trying to get him out to no avail. My lfs let me borrow their home made fish trap but the fish would never go in it. Has anyone used a professional fish trap that they bought from a store. If so, how quickly were you able to catch the fish?

sorry, never used one, when i want to catch a fish, i move rock from one end, about 5 or 6 inch of space, and slide a piece of plexi glass that is as wide as the tank in. i leave about 3 inch at the bottom, get fish it go under glass, and slide down. then i can catch much easier in a small space. so the plexi glass is almost like a divider. same width and heigth

I bought the trap that some other sites sell, the one with the trap door that's made out of plexiglass took a few minutes but I got the guy right out.

I recently purched a Trap-eze trap from the UK distributor. Caught a valmingi tang in about 30 seconds after baiting the trap! This trap is well thought out, extremly well made, and it works.

I bought the trap from this site- I would not recommend it
not only is it poorly designed, as the door is a pain to use
but mine atleast leaks out the water in about 45 seconds.
so when I remove fish I have to be very fast to place it in something else with water ready
