Has anyone used these MH Ballast Brands for a DIY

I am planning a DIY MH set up and was investigating Ballast manufactures. Any recomendations? Has anyone used Universal Magnetek or Advanced?
I found kits containing both these brands online for $68.00.

What wattage? Mogul or DE HQI?
I have PFO and I think they are fantastic, but have not used the ones you mentioned.

175 W Mogal

My 400w MHs I ran was made by Advance Transformer and it worked fine for over two years... now they are put up but nothing is wrong with them.

I replaced mine with Advanced so I could wire then 220 volt. 250 watt SEs, works great as far as I can tell.
