I've used it and I swear it works really well. My nitrates were at like 50 (long story). The guy at the LFS that I trust told me to buy some and a little nylon bag to put it in. They don't carry it so he wasn't just tryin to make a buck. I did a 20% water change then put the bag in my sump and in less then a week they were under ten. The guy at the LFS said it won't help with anything under 10. From my experience it works. Kents Nitrate Sponge is what I had by the way

nitrate sponges do work in my experience but you must changed at least weekly . once they have aborbed all they can they will release the nitrates back into your tank at a higher rate .if your not wanting to change them out regularly i dont sugest using them.

I used it, but it didn't seem to move my nitrates at all.

I did use it and it did work. Now, I just do water changes every week and no more problems with Nitrates.
