Hatching Bamboo shark eggs

Hello I got a shark egg for my son for Xmas....we picked it up around 12/17....clear definition of a shark in the egg.looks to be at least six inches long ....has been moving like crazy for two weeks.....checked it this morning and no movement at all...tank temp seem to have dropped to 72 (heater got unplugged in son's tank) moved the egg to our large tank where the temp is at 80....any pointers?
