OK, OK here is my honest unbiased review!
Yes I got home at 3am!
Good Film, Not great! I actually liked the first one slightly better.
Very Nice Cityscapes!
Maybe a tad TOO LONG!
Heath Ledger was great but I DONT THINK, Oscar worthy? Not enough screen time or lines.
Less CGI which is a good thing!
Movie can get confusing at times.
Overall a good film 7/10 Go see it! and add your review opinion!

I am doing that tonight, I like the midnight movie, it is generally when I start them anyways at the house, and their is less riff-raff.

Dang, tickets for the IMAX have been sold out since Wednesday for today and Sat. They've had to open up 3:00am and even 6:00am showings to handle the people. My friend is trying to get tickets for 10 tonight. I told him, "yea, after that, you can turn water into wine..."
I heard other reviews are similar....

I just saw. thought it was good, though not necessarily better than the 1989 Tim Burton/Jack Nicholson version.
first, it dragged on a little long. they needed to have shaved about 15-20 minutes off of it.
then, though I was not a big Heath Ledger fan in his lifetime and thought it was a tough job to try to fill Nicholson's shoes....I DO think he did a very good job. the Joker was way more badass in this one and very dark.
the ending was drawn out and stupid. they should have saved Two Face for another installment because after the Joker, Two Face is the best Batman villain.
I'd give it a B or A-. it just went a little long was my biggest complaint

I still don't say that Ledger is a better Joker than Nicholson.
you just have to look at it almost as two different characters. the Nicholson Joker was more charismatic and more comic relief. the Ledger Joker was more cold-blooded and sinister, and darker.
I said going in that I was not going to like Ledger better than Nicholson, so I guess I'll stand by that. but I WILL say that other than maybe Nicholson, Ledger was the best villain over any of the other comic book movies. he really did do a good job in this movie.

If I would've had the money, I would've gone to the midnight show. I cannot wait to see this!!!
My neighbors 18 year old kid came over, when he saw us still up at 3am, talking about how awesome it was.

All I can say is, this is a movie, not a comic book, so I'm glad it's made to be a movie, not a comic book. Unlike the previous versions, which were way cheesy.
Jack's great, but Jack's old.
Can't wait to see it tomorrow.

That movie was awesome! It was loong, but I disagree I think it took too long to develop not to finish. If that makes any sense. The last hour I was totally riveted, however the first hour and a half I was like geeze another comic book movie.

well, what's your opinion of Ledger as the Joker?
I think the movie, as a whole, was about 20 minutes too long. they could've cut off a minute or two here and there and it would've been better. I don't think the ending was "long", I thought the ending was stupid and overkill. but, I did a little more reading and the ending was probably a setup to another movie. for instance (SPOILER ALERT), the person that got killed at the end may not actually be dead and is going to be brought back in the next one. I also read something about the future Riddler making a cameo appearance in this one.

actually, I thought it was VERY MUCH like a comic book, which was what was good about it. I've never been a big comic book fan, but you could see some of the different shots and angles they took in this movie looked like they came straight from a comic book (or "graphic novel"). you can definitely tell the guy that wrote and directed this is a big comic book fan. comes off a lot better than someone who just adapts a movie screenplay from a comic book character.
