What size tank? hard plumbed? Fish only? Corals? How far are you moving? How long has tank been setup?

oh yeah, more info would be nice. 75 Gallon, aquaclear pro 150 wet/dry, corallife power compacts, 2 fish (1 percula, 1 cool(?) tang) 1 gorgonian, 100lbs live rock, 1 metallic green star pollyp, 1 brittle star, bunch o' snails n' crabs.
I'm moving about 45 minutes away. tank has been up for about 1 year.

This is not easy...good luck.
How far are you moving it (to another room or a totally new location)? Either way I would suggest you don't under estimate the amount of assistance you will need. The more hands the better.
If you are just moving it to another room I would suggest draining as much water as possible and putting your LR and some LS in another container. You can also put your livestock in your QT (assuming you have one). Then you can get "furniture movers" (disks you put under furniture to move it) at Walmart or Target. Then with lots of help SLOWLY slide the tank to its new location.
If you are moving it to a new location, I would suggest finding some people near by who can "fish-sit" for a day. Some LFS will do this for you. Then you can break down the tank (trying to keep most of the water) using large Rubbermaid containers and move it where it needs to go.

just to let everyone know, the tank is moved and has been set up for a week, everything is alive and the tank kept its cycle.
