I get such a kick out of this I just have to share it.My maroon clown with the love of his life his rubber(fake) anemone.
He won't host anything but this.
Sooo I guess I'm stuck with this fake anemone in my tank sure is an eye sore but he loves it to much for me to take it out.

haha, goofy fish! bet he'd host something else if ya took it out, prob ably kill ya if you tried though

well I'm gonna try taking it out and put in a bubble anemone and see if he wont host that.if not I guess back in the tank the rubber anemone will go.LOL :happyfish

wat esle do you have in the tank beside the fake enemone?
seems like there's nothing in the tank for the maroon to hide but that fake thing.
If you get a real one, I am sure it will appreciate you more.

o my gosh i saw a pic of that before (didnt look to hard) just assumed that if the clown was hosting it, it was real. i posted a thread to see if anyone knew of an anemone with yellow tentacles and black tip

autofreak everyone that comes into my house usuaslly does think that anemone is real.I still have to keep reminding my mom it is not real.
O.K I've been waiting to get all the proper lighting before getting a bubbletip anemone but I think it's time I sure do hope he will host the real thing.I hate taking his fake anoemone out whenever I take it out to clean it he goes crazy attacks my hand swims in circles very disstressed.I'll keep you all updated.

O.K it's here I ordered his bubble tip anemone and just got it into the water ten minutes ago and he loves it.
I took his fake one out last night and recieved his real one this morning and he trully is much happier allready. :cheer:

what is that in the picture to the left? The clown looks great. I'm sure she'll love her new REAL anemone. hah.

Well I have all my fingers left but if I even walk by the tank he swims back and forth like he would love to get a hold of me.Those clown fish can actually hit and bite pretty hard.
To the left of the picture is a curly Q anemone I thought the curly Q and BTA where to close to each other so I reached in to put the BTA a little further away and that clown went crazy on me. :jumping:

That is too funny! I'm glad he's happy with the replacement, but he probably will take awhile to forgive you for taking the first one!

Hey does any one now if percula clowns will host to an bubble tip its my next coral im buying i have 2 10,000k compacts along with 2 antics both are all 4 are 65 watts??
