Just got this guy out last weekend. Used to be my favorite fish but started getting very aggressive. The night before I got him out he was picking on my naso so bad I thought he was going to end his life right then and there. Had to tear apart half my reef but finally removed him. My naso is very happy now and my other fish are all out and about more than ever. Was considering a powder blue but feel I will have the same problem with him getting aggressive with my naso.

So I'm not the only one that has been tempted to flush my problem child fish! I have a small isolation container made to house baby fish that is made of plastic with perforations to allow water to circulate. I hung that on the inside of my tank and caught to offendor and put it the fish in that isolation container for 2 days. "A time out" break for a fish! After 2 days I let it back out after re-arranging some of the rocks and it never bullied the other fish again. I speculate it no longer saw the tank as it's "home" turf?
Strange but it worked.

This thread is hilarious!! I have a maroon that I tried to catch nad flush early on when I first got him. He tormented anything new I placed in the tank. I could never catch him. I really would have flushed him to. I could stick my hand in the tank to clean and he would bite me but when he saw the green net he was no where to be found. I can honestly say I am happy I never caught him. I really get a kick out of him now and he's one of my favorite fish.

I have a mated pair of gold bands. They are real cool... Lots of personality but do not mess with their area or anemone.
I placed a polyp rock and she knocked it on the SB. She never used to bite till I placed a 2nd anmone in the tank and now her and mate travel between the 2.
If I want them to stay away, drop a net in there and she how quick the came and attack.

Wow, I am glad that there are others who have moments of sheer anger for thier beloved fish.
I would like to report that as of today, my wonderful and stupid GSM has sucessfully killed my millepora coral frag and I think my birdnest coral frag is on its way out. So there goes sixty dollars down the drain. arrggggggg. But what can I do. I am trying to finish up my other tank's stand so I can move this wonderful fish.

Maroon clowns are my favorite, the reason I am setting up another tank. I have never wanted to kill a fish, thats mean. In fact, I usualy take the fish that people want to kill.

gsm are mean. Mine has drawn blood from me. killed a sixline, manderin, yellow tailed damsel. and a oriental wrasse. BUT i still love him. mine needs to get put i QT for a time out every now and then i really think it helps. When i take him out and put him back in he is so nice but when he gets mean and it is time to take him out it is easy he attacks the net.

I hope that you understand that I am not going to kill a fish. This is a thread designed to allow others and my self to vent. This actually will prevent me from killing the fish. It is good to vent.

I had this tiny little yellow candy hogfish that nearly killed a foxface 2x it's size. I tore the tank apart and finally caght him when he went carpet surfing.
