What fun fun fun,, playing story mode soon will play ONLINE with AQUA and RU... the game has it all.. On the edge of my seat and terrified the whole way through so far..

Practicing a lot myself. Biggest problem for me is telling who's is who. Haven't got who's Humans and who's the Locust by just glancing at them yet. In Halo it's so easy, there's a red team and a blue team. Shoot the opposite color, but in GoW2 I have to use the zoom and see if the crosshair turns red or the 'x' pops up. But by then it's too late. The other thing is gameplay. It just seems soo slow compared to Halo. In Halo, you pretty much run around looking for a battle, then it comes down to who can shoot the best. In GoW2, it's like you fight for every inch. Lots more camping and waiting, and always ducking and covering.
Perhaps lots more real, and love that it's addicting in that I so want to get better

COGS will have a blue light emiting from them or their weapon and a Locust will have a red light...

gah dont rub it in my face the day i got gears 2, my xbox got 3 red lights,just arrived in OK and is going to TX, so once it gets there, 2 to 3 weeks, im having withdrawls, from not being bale to play GH RB and COD4, if anyone wants to add me my gt is rogueofdoe, just say you are from here.

The addition of Horde is nice. The first day I had it, I just played horde with 4 others. Fun time. The story is pretty good too. And I think they fixed a lot of the problems with the online, however I don't like how you can't choose which game to enter but its halo style where it picks it for you through match-making.

Common now Anybody who's been playing this game know that DOM is your computer AI counterpart in the game.. Havent been online yet to play with Humans. lol

No, I mean playing Co-Op through the campaign instead of by yourself so that Dom is a human and not a computer.
By the way, I have changed my previous view on this game. The campaign is pretty cool, but the online is one of the worst I have ever played. It takes like 2-10 minutes to find a game and when you get in, you lag all over the place. Very rarely have I been in a game that doesn't lag. The first one had major online issues, but instead of improving it, they made it worse!
I want my $60 back!

Agreed sickboy, online has been 'uninspiring.' Mostly just playing local(warzone) with my brother and we each have 2 bots. The bots are pretty cool, not something I'm used to (not a Halo option).
I keep reading that, we need to be patient, and wait till after Christmas, since a lot of people (I read that as "entirely a bunch of kids") get GoW2 as a present. Just what I wanted, more foul-mouthed brats

Exactly! Its not like the first Gears of War was an unpopular game, what were they thinking? Hopefully it works better tonight with the NXE update, but I think that is just wishful thinking....

Ok, after posting that last night:
A) they fixed the servers, or
B) something about the NXE update made it run smoother.
I played again tonight and it took no time to get into a game and only 1 out of the 20 games I played was noticably laggy!

Maybe, but the online wouldn't be anywhere near as cool.
I want a PS3, and have played one immensely on my friends (plural), but the online in PS3 is definitely lacking as they would testify to.
