Having Doubts

Well here's the thing, I bought a 44 gal pentagon tank and stand set w/ flour light from petsmart. I am going back to college in a week and a half and I am having doubts if it was a wise decision. I want to start up the tank, but I still need all the supplies for fowlr. Anyone have any advice on the issue. I am just looking for the most affordable setup with good quality as well. Thanks in advance.

Are you going to be taking the tank with you, or will you be leaving it at home? I'm not sure exactly what you are asking? If it is an all-in -one type system you are looking for, you may want to consider a 12 or 24 gallon aquapod or nanocube. Basicly plug and play, unless you want to modify it.{most at least change out the pump}

I was going to take it back to school with me, I wasn't going to set it up until I got there, but I wanted to get all the supplies before I left.

You can get away with just the tank, stand, and a couple powerheads, some LR and live sand. You will need to do water changes weekly and stock the tank LIGHTLY, and it can work. You will need an LFS that sells RO/DI water, or a source for it such as the machines at wally world or bottled water.
