Hi,
I have had my 20g tank for about 3 months. I have live rock and sand but I'm not sure how much because my husband was the one that set it up. We have 2 clown fish, a royal gramma basslet and recently added a naso tang. My first problem is one of my clown fish has a white ball on one of his fins. He's had it for a few days. This morning I went to check on them and the tang is covered in white spots now. From what I've read it sounds like that have Ich, but I have now idea how to treat this.
The other problem that I am having is with my naso tang. When I bought the naso tang, I thought it looked a little big for my tank compared to the fish that I already have. The LFS assured me that it would be fine. As soon as I put it in the tank, I knew it was way too big for my small tank. I've been reading online and found that tangs that are unhappy will "sulk" and hide. "Dorie" has been doing this since we brought her home. I want to take her back to the LFS store but I assume that I can't return her until the white spots are taken care of. I'm so upset that they would sell me this fish knowing the size of my tank and that it would be unhappy. So my question is, how can I get her healthy enough to be returned and is there anything else I can do to make her life a little happier before I can take her back? Thanks!
