Mine is a totally different typed of DeNitrator, it uses sulfur and calcium. Your phosban won't pull down the pH, it just removes phosphates and I think silicates.
What is the denitrate material you use?
If your denitrate material pulls down the pH you might try aerating the effluent as it comes out of the unit into a cup or what I use is a small HOB filter that overflows back to the fuge. I just put an airstone in there and as the water drips into it, it aerates and drips into the tank.
