So based on everyone's super helpful advice (for which I am extremely grateful!!)
..........
Here's my plan:
1. Add some Macro Algae
2. keep a close eye on the Alkalinity and if it drops then add some buffer
Just a couple of questions:
1. Is there an alk. buffer anyone can recommend or will any one of them suffice?
2. Does Macro Algae need to put in a QT? (FYI, I have really really weak lights in the QT)
I seriously don't know what I'd do without you guys (and girls!), you are all so generous with your help :)

I really like B Ionic (made by ESV) 2 part. I only use the alk buffer: calcium Buffer System component no. 1 alkalinity
A lot of places sell it as a two part, but you can find it individually.
I hated AquaVitro 8.4. I usually like their products, but that buffer was garbage

I grow the purple maco in my QT because it grows like crazy in my DT. so I just keep it in there and sell it to the reef club here or trade. Can't believe all the people who want that here.

Glad to help and help us be keeping us posted also.
For an alk buffer plain old common baking soda will do. Some warning: it doesn't take much. So if alk drops down try a teaspoon for a 55g for instance. wait a 1/2 hour or so then test again.
