I got one from the lfs today and am acclimating it now, how do I get it into a position that I want it in once its done acclimating?

Not quite sure what a Hawaiian Feather duster looks like but I can tell you what I've done with all of mine.
Two of them I planted in the sand bed and they look like palm trees.
One I stuck in a hole in a rock and its been there ever since, and one I just let it to the mercy of the current and my pistol-shrimp actually picked it up, and stood it upright in front of his den and it attached itself to the live rock.
That was a real hoot to watch him play with that.

The current carried it away from the first place I put i so now its fit snug in a gap between my lr. It looks pretty good there and I doubt its going to move now. I might post some pics later.

I usually put mine between the rocks in its own little area.
