I am sorry to hear about your eel, thats a big hit to swallow, never skimp on equiment, It could have been a stand that was not level. That can help tank seals go bad.

a thousand dollars literally down the drain. most lfs sell dragons at $1000 so hobbyist will get discouraged about getting them. if you shop around you can find them as cheap as $375..
