hawk fish and shrimp

has any one ever had luck keeping cleaner shrimp with a hawk fish? the chick at the fish store told me hawk fish don't get along with inverts but i keep mine with 4 hermits (3 which could easily fit in his mouth)....

I had a longnose hawkfish and he never bothered my cleaner shrimp. One day my longnose disappeared and I eventually replaced it with a spotted hawkfish. The first day he devoured my cleaner shrimp. I hate this fish because of it, I cannot catch him no matter what I do. I would much rather have my shrimp than the hawk

fish. I guess some hawkfishes may not eat shrimp, but they are known for doing so.

damn! i have a "dwarf" aka falco hawk fish. do you know anything about these guys?

I kept a flame hawk fish with all size shrimp..even sexy shrimp...no problem. Some do...some don't.
