probably not a good idea.
hardy and aggressive fish. It may be grouped with other Lyretail Hawkfish if all are introduced to the aquarium at the same time and if there is adequate room available. Although it eats small fish and shrimp, it can make an excellent reef inhabitant under the right conditions. It uses anemones and large-polyped corals for protection.
The Lyretail Hawkfish diet should include a variety of marine meats, frozen preparations, and live feeder shrimp.

ok thanks all lot mike i was looking in my tank last nite and saw a red feather duster and a booger thing that had a snout it was only a mm thick i just swicth to sand from cc

are you asking what it might be?
the red is probably just that a feather duster as far as the other it could be just about anything.

Most hawkfish will go after crabs or shrimp i have had a couple and the longnose didnt care about the crabs and shrimp but the skunk would enjoy them for a snack
