Healthy Corals

Hi,
Since one month I have added some soft and hard corals to my tank (Don't know the names of corals). I am actually doing some search on these beautiful creatures. Can anyone help me with the solutions needed to make healthy corals?
I have read that they need iodine, strontium, calcium etc... so I went to a laboratory and found that they have iodine and calcium hydroxide, can I use them in my tank? What is the dosing and how often to put in my tank?
For your info :
In my country the LFS done have anything for marine tank.
The corals that I have were collected from ocean.
I have a 70g tank with a 40g refugium.
If you need any other info, let me know.
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't attempt any coral that I did not have basic information and knowledge about.....and....most decent salt mixs will replenish trace elements ...

I use ocean water and change 10% every week (I live at seaside).
I am asking if I need to add iodine, calcium, etc... because I read that people add these to help their corals grow and to be healthy.
Do I have to use them if I am using water directly from ocean?
Need your advise please.
Thanks.
