Heard a little rumor abought angels

if you have angels together (2 dwarfs) they probarly will not fight if different enough
so what abought a regal and a flame

That's what I was told at the lfs also. I was wanting to put a flame & a coral beauty together, the lady there said that they should be ok as long as they were the same size & put in at the same time. ON this board however they didn't recommend it. What size tank do you have, i'm not pos. about this but if your tank is big enough maybe it would be ok

That's what I eventually decided after talking w/people on this board. I still don't know which one i'm gonna get right now i'm leaning more towards the flame we'll see though I still have a long time to think about it.

I had a coral beauty and a eibli angel in a 15 for awhile..
They fought for a day or two and were ok after that

I had a flame and a coral beauty together in my tank. everything ent ok, no fighting between the two

It all depends on the individual. I had a coral beauty that was nice and peaceful, but people I've known have had ones that would tear corals and such, probably would tear another angel up if they got the chance.

it may be risky but you never know, you could get lucky and have too really nice angels

The rule of thumb is "no", but as with any rule there are exceptions. I'd say that if they are about the same size, different in color, and a little bit different body type, you should be ok. Just make sure that your tank is well established.

my brother had a flame and coral beauty in a 125 with no problems. I wouldn't risk it in a smaller tank though.
