what is whe best way to clean the disinagrated coral out of mty tank he lost most of his color the amonia spiked and the cleaner shrimp died I can not find reef purple/pink lobster at all
I think this poor coral is dead but how do i know for sure? the body is stilll fleshy/firm but desinagrating with a black ring around the base I am not for definate that the tank may not have bien poisoned I am leaving a bad relationship but he still lives here I have done a thorough water chane of 25 % and all tests were stable went to put coral; in 1 day later he's dead (I think) I have isolated him untill someone can tell me for sure wether or not he's dead or how to tell and wave done a 25% water change the fish hermits and the sally light foot x2 all look good the water was also quite warm and the a/c must have blown a fuse when i went to the tank the h20 was 88-90 wich may also be the proplom I have never had the lights on that long before as they are still new but he flipped them on and left so hwen I got home things were a mess I have of course done (and am still doing a water change and the lights are on twilight to rest the fish after all the stress the tank is 6 months old I can't think of anything eles that might be useful knowledge (but I'm a little freaked out right now by this all) my star pollyps were all closed for the whole day also as far as I can tell please If you can lend any advise thanks
