Heater controllers

Is Aqua Medic Biotherm heater controller a good make,or is there a better pick?

I'm not much of a fan of aqua-medic anything. If I were going to go with a heater controller, I'd go with a Ranco.

I HATE Won stuff...I had 3 heaters fail..junk in my eyes.

I don't know anything about it. I too bought the Ranco and it has worked flawlessly for me.

Aqua medic is just a low end manufacturer, and most of their products are very failure prone.
Generally, with heaters, you don't mess around. Failing to spend money properly on heaters is a one way ticket to a very expensive seafood dinner.
