heater inside filter?

is it possible for me to put a heater inside the filter? Im getting tired of mine, i have no sump and it has suction cups, everytime i turn around that this is off the glass.... I even replaced the suction cups and it still doesnt want to stay...

There is no problem in putting the heater in your filter as long as it fits. The only reason for putting a heater in the sump is to keep it out of view. If your filter has a plastic housing, make sure the heater isnt touching anything that could possibly melt and cause a leak.

I keep a heater in all of my pico tanks and nano tanks in the hob filters so its not visible in the DT portion an dthey work just fine.

thanks for the replies. Im not sure my heater will actually fit. I was thinking about that, but ill try it.
