Heater Questions

I have a 55 gal that I just set up about 3 weeks ago and don't have a heater in it. The LFS told me I could get away without one if I kept my place around 75-78, which I do. Well I think I'll sleep a little better if I have a heater in the tank and want to know what a good submersible heater is for the money? Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I sure do like ebo-jager. I broke one in a dumb ass attack a while back. It just got a crack in it, so I took it outside and started beating the crap out of it and man did it take a licking before the inner glass went.

I thought metal in a salt water tank was a bad thing, I don't know about titanium, but salt water will eventualy crode most all metals even if it is over a long time like with stanless steel.

I have had a Tronic in my 37 gal. for almost two years with no problems. I just put a 350w ProHeat with the digital display in my new 128 gal. and it seems to be great.
