heater/sump question

i have to 150 watt heater for a 55 gallon i have a sump set up havent tryed it yet . i was wondering if i should put both heater in the sump or 1 in sump and 1 in tank or just 1 in sump or doesnt it matter?

I would place bolth of them in the sump no reason not to.

Put them both in the sump. If you have good circulation, and you should, then both the water in the sump and the water in the tank willl be the same temperature. Just be sure to keep the thermometer in the tank.
