I have a fluval heater which came with my tank, it has a turing dial situated on the top of the unit, does any one know if the whole unit can be under water or does the dial at the top have to be out of the water,

I dont know about that particular model however It should be able to be fully submerged

Fluval Tronic heaters are submersible, but it isn't clear that that is what you have. Google "Fluval heater" and see if the photos you find match up with your heater.

hi i have just found out my name of the heater its called fluval tronic electronic aquarium heater 150w any ideas if the whole thing can go under water

Probably, yes, but it should be plugged into a GFCI just to be on the safe side.

ground fault circuit interrupter. Its a type of power outlet.
Is there a little 'water line' on the heater? If not, its probably submersible.
