heaters @ rubbermaid sumps

Does anyone who has a plastic sump have any problems with keeping their heater in there? I was worried it may melt the plastic.

I have my heater in mine and don't have a bit of a problem.

i have mine in there as well, stuck on a piece of plexiglass not the tub. i just make sure that it dosent actually touch the tub but that is probably not even a concern really.

Use the stand off clips that come with heater....no probs

i have mine laying on the bottom and i have had it there for a few months i have yet to have a problem.

I had one burn a hole in the side of the container, stunk really bad, and was a real mess. Make the necessary precautions.
