Being the newbie that I am, I recently had a bit of an issue with my heater. Turns out it was set way to low, and through the night my water temp dropped to 74 degrees. After noticing this in the afternoon, I readjusted, and went to work. Upon arriving home, It turns out Ive over adjusted and the temp is now 86 degrees, and readjusted again. Will this massive temp change within 48 hours severly shock the tank? Im nearing the end of my initial cycle, and my only tank inhabitants are 20lbs of live rock, a Pepermint shrimp, and whatever else hitch hiked in on the rock. Thanks for the help.
