Chances are the starfish crawled out of the tank. The best thing you could do would have been to either put it back in a tank or point it out to an employee. Stealing is stealing, no matter what you think......

Your original post says you "drove really fast". Further down the string you indicate your friends house is only two doors away from the lfs. I guess you didn't use much gas to get there?
I've also read in other posts that you've admitted to being 12. I believe driving age in NY is 18?
I think Fishey is a great name for you. Most of what you write seesm pretty fishey to me.

Now once when i was at a lfs probably about 6 or 7 yrs ago my mom stepped on a yellow tang that jumped out of the tank. Man did she freak out. She thought she would have to pay for it. The poor thing died on the spot.
Someone needs to put a block on this kid so we don't get any more of these crazy posts.

LOL..if he had made an effort to return if maybe...sounds more like they just would have blown it off & in the end, it would have died anyways...UM BEHAVE...you ever have starfish...sometimes they get out...also in the main 135 tank, more than 1/2 of the fish are from ***** & have remained alive & WELL for months now...not ALL *****'s are horrid; that & if you wait & see if it's still there after couple weeks; well than anything that can survive that long at ***** should be more than hardy to survive establish helathy tank
(not that IT MATTERS or that I DO, but NOPE I do not)

Jakob4001: I agree with your starfish theory. If it can survive at *****, then it can survive anywhere. I know that not all *****'s are bad, but 95% of them are terrible.

man it was incredible this blue spotted jawfish jumped out of a tank and landed in my shirt pocket!! i cruised on out of then and WOW what a great fish!!!!!!
