Helfrichi Firefish...does anybody even have one??

Just wondering, 180 dollar firefish. Why is it so expensive???? It doesn't look anymore beautifual than a red or purple firefish.
If they were the same price as the others, I'd consider one, but its not worth 180 dollars in my opinion.

I couldnt tell you why they are so expensive, but i do think in my opinion they look a lot better than the red and the purple firefish. They have all three kinds at my LFS and they are in three tanks right next to each other, and when comparing then, the Helfrichi look a lot better than the purple, that look a lot better than the red. They have more color than the other two. Just my opinion.
Also at my LFS they sell them for about $85 a fish, i would consider paying 170 for two of them. But 180 for one? Thats a little step for me.

I do think the prices for this beautiful fish are starting to come down though. They were around $120 around here and have started to see them for $89.

yea, i noticed another site had them on sale for 99 a piece. But they seem like one of those fish you need to buy in pairs. MY LFS don't have any in stock, but I picked up a pair of reds for 13 each. They got some good color in them if you ask me.
I'd be sick if one of those helfrichis died no me though..
