Your tank is beautiful, it's really come along nicely over the last year!
My parameters are all off. I tested everyday last week while trying to figure out what I needed to dose. As of yesterday they were
Alk 6
Mag 1150
Ca 440
And thats with the doser pumping 1 cup of mag and alk a day which is what it needed to maintain, had the alk at 8, mag at 1450 when i set up the doser. My ph has stayed stable at 8.3, salinity at 1.026, temp was warm at 84.5, have a fan over the return section of my sump.
What weird is I don't have any sps, just lps, softies and zoas. So I don't think these are sucking that much out, but obviously something is.
I'm glad I have the week off so I can get this dealt with......now off I go!

Thank you for the kind words, I'm really happy with how things are going in my tank. I just hope that certain sps will kick in little bit more and faster but what can we do lol.
Well your live rock will also absorb a bit of calcium for coraline algae as well.
Your temperature is REALLY high. You need to get that down a bit. Maybe you can install small fans on the display tank itself or maybe a small chiller.
Hmm... I'm very surprised that after your dosing, your mag and your alk will go down.
Bring that alk up a bit because 6 is bit low but do it slowly. You don't want to up swing it too fast. My sps browned out when I did this and took a while to recover.
