I'm a new-b,, My name is Santo,,, I live in Long Island NY,,, I just purchased a 46 gal bow front, going to set it up with some rock, coral, and a few fish.
I want to keep it simple, but still want it to look beautiful. I have some questions, but I first need to get my thoughts together. So far I added the sand, 20 lb's of aragonite and 30 lb's of so other sand that I don't remember the name of, I bought a Fauval 406, Solarmax 236 light, heater, and salt.
I rinsed the sand for about 20 minute's, not the aragonite sand, added both in the tank mixed it together added the water and the salt, started the filter, it seems to be ok, just it became very cloudy when I started adding the water but its clearing up, I move the sand around tonight and it started to get cloudy again, will that settle after a while, or do I need to do something, or should I've rinsed the sand more.
I'm all messed up.. Help please...
